Dynamic sports expose sportsmen to a set of impacts potentially. Especially in the case of karate, judo and similar sports that require contacting the surface, two types of foam mats are used for minimising potential impacts.
These are made of EVA polyethylene mixture with more springing materials or of polyethylene materials that are relatively less springing. Locking structure at the edge of the plates enable easier assembling onto floor. These are also used at kindergarten to minimise adverse effects of accidents that involve falling off and falling down.
