Weekly Developments in Our Industry (8-15 August)

1) Use of Neoprene as a Crossfit Glove: Crossfit glove is currently made in three different types; suede, leather and/or neoprene. The correct selection of the material is completely according to the goals of the manufacturer. These also have different advantages and disadvantages in themselves. E.g; The palm area is also where the gloves provide grip texture. Suede and leather gloves naturally have a better grip due to the texture of the material, but neoprene gloves often have silicone strips or dots to enhance it. This allows you to have a more comfortable crossing experience with neoprene gloves.

On the other hand; suede and leather are a little harder and require more time to get in, but this allows them to provide better support and protection. Neoprene is more flexible, which may be more comfortable for some wearers, but does not provide as much support and protection as suede or leather. The right choice at this point depends on the tempo and intensity of your workouts.

          2) Nike Air Huarache with Leather and Neoprene Sole Is About to Re-Relaunch: Very soon, Nike will be bringing back another set of original colors, the popular Air Huarache for the model's 30th anniversary. This month, the "Aquatone" version of the Tinker Hatfield-designed running model returns, as confirmed in the SNKRS broadcast calendar. This pair was released in 1992 and was originally launched as a women-only style. Similar to other OG-style Air Huaraches, white leather and neoprene serve as the sole of the upper, while magenta and teal have bootie-like texture at the heel. Complementing the design is a white midsole and a black outsole.

          3) Importance of EVA Foam as a Garage Wall Protector:  One of the most problematic situations for vehicle owners with children in America and Canada; car owners or (usually) their children rubbing the car door against the wall while getting into the car in the garage. Many companies that want to prevent this are developing Wall Protector products with names such as Garage Wall Protector and/or Garage Wall Guard. Although these products have different colors and designs, one of the common points is; Widespread use of EVA foams. This opens up a different area as a customer segment.
